Eight Chinese wines from Ningxia, Xinjiang, Hebei and Beijing that previously won medals at the Decanter World Wine Awards and the Decanter Asia Wine Awards were recently available for tasting in London.
The Chinese wine was on display at the 67 Pall Mall private members club last week, as its importer, Panda Fine Wine, sought distribution deals in the UK market.
Award-winning Chinese producers at the show include Helan Qingxue from Ningxia, Tiancai Winery in Xinjiang, and Chateau Rongzhi from Shaanxi.
Price was a major obstacle for fine Chinese wine producers seeking to export, Jasper Morris MW said in a previous interview with DecanterChina.com.

Distribution prices for the wines on offer last week ranged from £10 to £45. Importer Panda Fine Wine said many of these wines had not been represented on the UK wine market before.
The portfolio was selected by Meiyu Li, Park Hyatt Beijing Hotel Consultant who was previously a jury member at the Decanter World Wine Awards.
